Bodhisattva’s Compassionate Vessel Crossing the Southern Sea
Manifesting miraculous forms on Mount Putuo in the Southern Sea,
The compassionate vessel crosses the ocean to guide worldly voyagers.
Avalokiteshvara listens deeply with a heart of profound empathy,
Responding to cries of suffering to rescue all sentient beings.
Mount Wutai and Monk Huiguang created an enduring legend,
The Dharma rain and sweet dew bathe all in Buddha’s grace.
Thirty-three manifestations leave behind sacred records,
The roaring tide and sacred sounds echo for eternity.
